Community Energy Policy - February 9, 2010

	New Brunswick's Indigenous Natural Gas: Opportunities that Could Improve Our Energy Competitiveness The objectives of this research project were to:  Estimate the base cost of natural gas from the McCully field. Specifically, the cost of the gas less any associated distribution, transmission, cross-subsidization or royalty payments (the wellhead price).  Compare this base cost to existing tariffed Enbridge Gas New Brunswick rates as well as benchmark locations around North America.  Determine the full cost of generating electricity in New Brunswick using other fuel/methods including oil, coal, wind, etc. Download (715 kb)
